Pursuit of the Cup

The pathway to the FFA Cup proper for Victorian clubs is through the Dockerty Cup.  The state-wide knockout competition automatically includes all State League clubs, and is open to any clubs outside this structure by application. 

 

Seeding based on which league a club competes in is designed to keep the games competitive throughout.  The 2013 Victorian Premier League and State League 1 clubs entered the competition at Round 4.  The four clubs that reached the semi-finals of the Dockerty Cup qualified to represent Victoria in the FFA Cup.
