Get swept up by the magic of the Cup
The time has arrived! The inaugural Westfield FFA Cup kicks off tomorrow night (Tuesday 29 July 2014).
It started with over 600 clubs from around the country and is now down to the last 32 teams.
The opening night of the knockout competition will feature four all-Member Federation matches with two in NSW, one in Victoria and one in Queensland.
Northern NSW Football NPL club Broadmeadow Magic will host Brisbane Strikers, Victorian State League South East side South Springvale welcome South Cardiff, former NSL heavyweights Melbourne Knights head up to the Sunshine State to tackle Olympic FC, while it’s an all NPL New South Wales encounter with Manly United taking on Sydney Olympic at Cromer Park.
The Westfield FFA Cup is the chance for grassroots and aspiring NPL players to show what they are made of on the national stage, sudden death matches that will be decided by extra time and penalties if required, with the winners to move through to the next stage and no second chance for the losers.
This is football for all where anything is possible!
All matches kick-off at 7.30pm local time and tickets are available from the venues on the night. Who will be the first clubs to move through to the Round of 16?
